The highlight of the evening was a Guided Freehand Canvas Painting Workshop, where participants explored their artistic creativity by illustrating iconic elements from their countries’ traditional art forms, landmarks, and festivals. Facilitated by talented professional artists, this interactive workshop symbolized the collaborative spirit and unity that define the BRICS+ framework.
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry hosted the GST Conclave and Awards 2024, on October 04, 2024 at The Ashok, New Delhi, uniting senior government officials, industry leaders, and legal experts to discuss GST in India. The honorable Chief Guest, Mr. K.K. Jalan, IAS (Retd), Former Secretary to the Government of India, emphasized GST's positive impact on business processes. CA Nidhi Goyal, President, Indirect Tax Vertical, BRICS CCI, delivered the Welcome Note, underscoring GST’s role in economic integration. Keynote speakers included Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, IAS (Retd), on "BRICS & GST: Driving Economic Integration," and Mr. Tirumala Venkatesh Kaggundi, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, who addressed "BRICS Trade Integration." Mr. Sahil Seth, Joint Commissioner, CBIC, offered special remarks on recent GST reforms. Panel discussions covered topics like "GST - 7 Year Journey," sectoral implications, and future directions.
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BRICS CCI) inaugurated its much- anticipated Chandigarh Chapter on September 27, 2024, in a grand ceremony that marked a significant milestone in fostering international collaboration and regional economic growth. The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry officially launched its UAE Chapter office in Dubai on February 17, 2024, following the expansion of BRICS membership to include the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, and Ethiopia. It is with this thought that we introduce the inaugural BRICS WE Trailblazers Dialogue- Round Table Discussion on the theme- “Global Women Diplomats - Breaking Barriers, Shaping Global Affairs” on August 4, 2023 at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.
With the impulse of global Sustainability in sight, BRICS CCI, on June 8th, 2023, organized “Climate & Economic Resilience Forum”. With this, the Forum seemed to harness the collective strength and expertise of the BRICS countries to drive transformative action towards a more sustainable future.
BRICS CCI in cooperation with the Eurasian People’s Assembly organized the International Round Table "The New Generation of Eurasia" for the Days of the Eurasian People’s Assembly in the Republic of India, on March 21, 2023 at FORE School of Management, New Delhi.
The 3rd edition of BRICS CCI Annual Women Summit and Felicitations 2023 was organized on 4th March, 2023 at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. An Initiative by BRICS CCI Women’s Vertical based on the theme: Women Shaping the Techade. It was indeed a very insightful event and was attended by a huge number of participants.
BRICS CCI hosted the BRICS Energy Partnership Forum, aimed at deliberating coherent and pragmatic solutions to the rising energy demand for India and realise the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat towards a brighter future.
BRICS CCI hosted the 2nd edition of the Start-up Series ‘Start-up Stories: Unfolding the Unicorn journey’ aimed at providing a wholesome approach for young entrepreneurs and build young leaders to effectively articulate their ideas in a meaningful manner by networking, mentorship, partnerships, and funding for young entrepreneurs.
