Industry took place on September 21st, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi. Chaired by Dr. B.B.L. Madhukar and attended by 23 Governing Body members, the meeting covered an array of topics. Discussions encompassed new members, upcoming and past events, financial reports, and growth prospects for the Chamber. Highlights included discussions on the BRICS Annual Recognition Awards (BARA) 2023-24, the announcement of new Vertical Heads, and the naming of new Executive Directors. The Board explored plans for BRICS Bloc members' expansion into Egypt and Saudi Arabia, introduced the BRICS CCI WE Global Women Leadership Programme, and considered proposals for reduced membership fees in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. An intriguing suggestion by Mr. Rajesh Mehta for a Facilitation Centre for NRIs sparked extensive discussion, while Mr. Shastri discussed incentive allocation for Membership and Sponsorship acquisition, leading to unanimous decisions for rate alignment. prevention. Dr. Sushi Singh provided an overview of the POSH Law (Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013) and actively encouraged input from the committee
members on the way forward for the BRICS CCI POSH Committee. The committee delved
into their progress on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013 (POSH Law)
and celebrated the achievement of three out of five crucial mandates, including the
establishment of the Internal Complaints Committee and the formulation of the POSH
Policy. Notably, the meeting concluded with the pivotal decision to integrate the POSH
policy into offer letters, affirming the committee's dedication to ensuring a secure and
respectful work environment for all employees.

BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized a meeting with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Igor V. Piasetskii, Indian Representative of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Vasili Andreivich from Russia adorned the meeting with their renowned presence.

BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized a meeting with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Igor V. Piasetskii, Indian Representative of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Vasili Andreivich from Russia adorned the meeting with their renowned presence.
The meeting began with a personal presentation of each member to the Russian representatives, followed by Dr. BBL Madhukar's welcome remarks. In an effort to foster economic prospects, the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry has welcomed the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Igor V. Piasetskii introduced himself and put up several business opportunities across Russia. Moreover also promised to introduce Russians with business opportunities in India. He also addressed the meeting by showing the age old relation that India shares with Russia in almost all aspects being it Business or culture. Several eminent members shared their experiences with their Russian counterparts.
All in all the meeting ended with the hope of developing closer ties between the chambers and paving the way for more such meaningful dialogues for mutual success of the two nations.
